Governor of West Papua, Dominggus Mandacan called on church members to synergize with the lives of surrounding communities and local governments.
Dominggus said, the church is also responsible for building the mentality and character of the people, with the aim of a more advanced and prosperous society.
“At the age of 11 this year, the Immanuel Demini Ransiki Church congregation has shown many qualities in its ministry. The church, society and government have a similar role in development and are expected to work together,” said Dominggus, on the sidelines of the inauguration of Church fence Immanuel Demini Ransiki in South Manokwari Regency, Sunday (28/7).
Dominggus continued, the church can also provide positive concepts and thoughts through its institutions.
“Continue to develop into an advanced, strong and independent church to serve the community wholeheartedly, and sincerely in any task,” said Dominggus who is also the Chief of the Great Tribe of the Arfak Mountains.
