Regent of Teluk Wondama, West Papua, Bernadus Imburi appreciates the work of the National Police in realizing security in the area.
“The security situation in Wondama is very conducive. The police work in handling crimes here is quite good,” Imburi said in Wondama Bay on Friday.
In particular, the regent praised the hard work of the Teluk Wondama Regional Police in securing the 2019 Concurrent Election so that the democratic party went safely and smoothly without any obstacles.
“We are comfortable with the simultaneous elections in 2019, all because of the work of the police in this area. Including the involvement of the National Police Food Task Force in controlling the prices of basic commodities at Christmas and at the time of Eid Al-Fitr, the Police together with us ensure prices remain stable,” said the regent.
Teluk Wondama remains safe and conducive, according to the regent, it can be realized because of the cooperation and partnership that was built well by the Wondama Regional Police with the Regional Government as well as various components of the community.
“So I hope that this cooperation, coordination and communication will continue to build for the sake of security and order for all of us in this area. I also hope that together we will continue to maintain so that we can reduce all forms of crime,” continued the number one person of Wondama.
Chief of Police, AKBP Murwoto stressed that the 73rd anniversary of Bhayangkara in 2019 will be a momentum for all Wondama Regional Police to encourage better service.
It is committed to continue to maintain partnerships with local governments as well as other community elements that have been going well.
“We hope not to hesitate, if there is any small disruption of the Security to us, we are open 24 hours for the benefit of service to the community,” Murwoto said.
